The Parent Dashboard provides comprehensive access to monitor and support your child's education. View academic progress, track attendance, manage payments, and stay informed about all aspects of your child's school experience.

How to Use

Logging In as a Parent

1. From the Landing Page (homepage), click the Login button.
2. Enter your email and password provided by the school.
3. You'll be redirected to your Parent Dashboard.
4. If you don't have login credentials, contact your child's school administrator.

Accessing Your Dashboard

1. After logging in, you are automatically redirected to your Parent Dashboard.
2. If you have multiple children, use the Child Selector dropdown in the top-left corner of every page to choose which child's data to view.

3. View your child's key information at a glance:
   • Academic Progress - Overall performance metrics
   • Recent Grades - Latest grade updates
   • Attendance Status - Current attendance record
   • Payment Status - Outstanding fees and payment history
   • Upcoming Assignments - Homework and project deadlines

Monitoring Your Child's Grades

1. Navigate to Grades from the sidebar or dashboard.
2. Select your child using the dropdown in the top-left if you have multiple children.

3. View comprehensive grade information:
   • Grades by Subject - All subjects with current grades
   • Grade History - Track progress over time
   • Assignment Grades - Individual assignment scores
   • Overall Average - Cumulative GPA or average
4. Filter and sort grades by:
   • Specific Subject - Focus on one subject area
   • Date Range - View grades from specific periods
   • Grade Type - Homework, quizzes, exams, projects

Tracking Your Child's Attendance

1. Navigate to Attendance from the sidebar.
2. Select your child using the dropdown in the top-left if you have multiple children.

3. Monitor attendance records:
   • Overall Attendance Rate - Percentage of classes attended
   • Attendance by Subject - Subject-specific attendance patterns
   • Absence Details - Dates and reasons for absences
   • Attendance Trends - Monthly attendance patterns
4. View attendance status for each class:
   • Present ✓ - Your child attended the class
   • Absent ✗ - Your child was marked absent
   • Excused - Absence was excused with valid reason

Managing School Payments

1. Navigate to Payments from the sidebar.
2. Select your child using the dropdown in the top-left if you have multiple children.

3. View and manage school fees:
   • Payment History - All past payments and receipts
   • Outstanding Balances - Current fees due
   • Upcoming Payments - Future payment schedules
   • Payment Methods - Manage payment options
4. Make payments directly through the platform (if enabled):
   • Online Payment - Pay fees securely online
   • Payment Plans - Set up installment payments
   • Automatic Payments - Schedule recurring payments

Viewing Homework and Assignments

1. Navigate to Homework from the sidebar.
2. Select your child using the dropdown in the top-left if you have multiple children.

3. Monitor your child's assignments:
   • Pending Assignments - Work that needs to be completed
   • Completed Assignments - Work your child has finished
   • Assignment Details - Instructions, due dates, and requirements
   • Submission Status - Whether assignments have been submitted
4. Track assignment deadlines and completion status.

Accessing Health Records

1. Navigate to Health Records from the sidebar (if available).
2. Select your child using the dropdown in the top-left if you have multiple children.

3. View health-related information:
   • Medical Information - Health records on file with the school
   • Emergency Contacts - Ensure contact information is current
   • Health Alerts - Important health notifications
   • Medical Forms - Required health documentation

Monitoring Academic Progress

1. Navigate to Metrics or Progress from the sidebar.
